We turned up to work 830am to a crowd close to 300 strong and still growing, i was dumbfounded but absolutely stoked!! we had no idea that we were going to get as many people turn up, apparently some people had been there since 930pm the previous evening battling out the weather so needless to say we were humbled greatly by their efforts. It was our biggest day on record with a whopping 100 tattoos being done with 9 artists rotating through 7 stations, the boys were definitely kept on their toes with a second wind being delivered by way of Red Bull haha. Unfortunately with the nature of such a promotion we couldnt get through everyone and sadly thems the brakes so on behalf of the team at Otautahi Tattoo we would like to apologise, we tried our hardest 9 artists workin 13.5 hours straight the guys were wrecked, it will certainly be a birthday to remember with the last person walking out the door just on 1130pm. It was a great day had by all you can see photos and highlights on our facebook page

We (Otautahi Tattoo) are having our 2nd birthday and its going to be HUGE...because this time the presents are on us!! We will be doing 12 hours nonstop of completely FREE tattooing! 9am-9pm Saturday 5th June there’s No tricks, scams or anything remotely money or profit focussed, in-fact leave your wallet at home and bring absolutely NO money. As per usual our sidekicks “The Rock” will be the momentum for this event. We can see this being a very large and happy occasion and a first in New Zealand so make sure you come prepared and ready to go, NO bookings will be made and only people here at the time are eligible to be tattooed. So feel free to come on down and enjoy this milestone occasion with us, hell even bust out the camera :)
If you would like to come down to support and if you want to be tattooed all you have to do is turn up
We look forward to seeing you all soon,
Warm winter Cheers and beers ,

Nick has decided to pop back to NZ from his homes in London and New York to spend some time with his family and catch up with friends and most impostantly write some new music for his new album release. Hi guys,
Touching base after a long while with some sad news; To all who knew him he (David Broughton) was a great man with a wealth of knowledge to boot, ex Boys high, 1st IVX and then many years spent dedicated to the NZ Army. Dave has tackled the numerous hurdles that life has thrown at him...sadly Dave passed away last week and has touched and influenced many of the lives he has been a part of. A time to cry, a time to mourn but also a time to celebrate the life of a great guy with a big heart
he wont be forgotten,

R.I.P David Broughton
